Exquisitely Proportioned Chest is fully Oyster veneered with Holly banding. The molded top line is inlaid with circles and semi-circles over two short and two long drawers, original brass hardware. Sides inlaid with Yew lozenges among wide Holly bands. The stand raised on spiral-turned supports by shaped flat stretchers on later turned feet.  Old professional repairs to veneer. This piece is in wonderful condition especially when considering it is 328 years old.  Made in England in 1685. 40"H x 36"W x 23"D
