These small tables were made by Johnson-Handley-Johnson of Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. They are examples of the fine cabinetry that this firm produced. Designed by Tom Handley, who was staff designer for Johnson Furniture since 1908 and became a partner in 1922. The tables have a serpentine front with intricate inlay, typical of Handley's designs. Johnson Furniture was founded by three brothers who emigrated from Sweden in 1887. Tom Handley worked for Waring and Gillow in London as their in house designer. Made in the United States in 1923. Condition: Good. Mahogany exteriors with oak drawer interiors. 27.5"H x 15.5"D x 19"W
